Why no photos?
Photos pull the eye and the heart in the wrong direction. Faith, character and life vision decide a marriage, not a filter. Once both sides agree at the wali handover, photos can of course be exchanged through him, in the right context.
How is the wali involved?
The sister registers her wali’s details upfront, and we send him an SMS invite to confirm his role. On mutual interest the brother then receives the wali’s contact details, not hers, and the introduction continues through him, the way our deen intends.
How does the weekly match work?
Every Friday, the AI compares your full profile against everyone else in the round and proposes at most one match, only when someone genuinely fits both your wishes. You get a short note explaining why, and time to reflect calmly.
What if I’m not interested in my match?
Just pass. The other side never sees that you saw their profile. You’ll simply enter the next round.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, in one click from your dashboard. No notice period, no fine print.
Can I take a break without cancelling?
Yes. Use the pause function on your dashboard and you’ll be left out of every match round until you resume. Your subscription continues to run unless you also cancel it.
Why only one match per week?

Can I delete my account?
Yes. Send a short request to support@amaanah.nl and we’ll permanently delete your data. In the meantime you can pause yourself from the dashboard so you don’t enter any rounds.
