Amaanah
A clear, careful path

How Amaanah works

Seven deliberate steps — from signing up to a guardian handover. No swiping, no photos, no chit-chat. Just a calm, supervised path towards an honourable marriage.

Manually reviewed One match per week Guardian-first handover
  1. 1
    Step 1 · ~2 min

    Sign up & verify

Register with your phone number and confirm a one-time code. All communication runs through this secure portal — never via SMS chat or social media.

    • Phone verification (SMS code)
    • Optional nickname for privacy
  2. 2
    Step 2 · ~10 min

    Build your profile

Go through onboarding honestly and carefully. Our matchmakers review every profile by hand before it enters a match round.

    • Sisters add their guardian's details
    • Manual moderation, normally within 24h
  3. 3
    Step 3 · ~5 min

    Preferences vs. requirements

Preferences influence your match score. Requirements filter candidates out completely. Use requirements sparingly — overly strict filters (e.g. language) rarely lead to a good outcome.

    • Gentle guidance from the matchmaker
    • Adjustable any time
  4. 4
    Step 4 · Friday round

    The AI-powered weekly match round

Every Friday our AI looks at everyone’s preferences, values and life goals, and proposes the single best mutual match. The selection is fully automatic, so the focus stays on quality and not quantity.

    • AI-powered compatibility across many signals
    • A short note explaining why you fit
    • One mutually optimal match per week
  5. 5
    Step 5 · 48 h window

    48 hours to decide

Both parties get a notification. No response within 48 hours, or a rejection, ends the match. On rejection you briefly explain — visible only to the admin & the algorithm, never to the other party.

    • Calm, no pressure to swipe
    • Honest feedback improves future rounds
  6. 6
    Step 6 · max 3 messages

    Three moderated messages

Upon mutual acceptance you may each send three messages. A moderator reviews every message first. No contact details, social handles or external links — those will be rejected.

    • Keeps things respectful
    • Focused, meaningful exchange
  7. Step 7 · the guardian handover

Continue or stop — with the guardian

After the messages, both decide whether to proceed. Only on a mutual yes do we share the guardian's details. Both accounts are paused while the process is ongoing — you can give it your full attention, in shaa Allah.

    • Guardian-first handover
    • Accounts paused until the outcome is known

Common questions

Quick answers.

What if I don't want to share my real name yet?

You can use a nickname during onboarding. Real names are exchanged via the guardian only after both sides agree to proceed.

Can I get more than one match per week?

No. We deliberately keep it to one carefully selected match. This protects your focus and your peace of mind — quality over quantity.

What happens if there is no good match this week?

Then we send no match. You'll automatically be considered again next Friday, in shaa Allah.

Can I pause my account?

Yes. You can pause or cancel anytime from your dashboard with one click. Your profile stays saved and excluded from match rounds.

Ready to begin?

Sign up in two minutes, complete your profile, and join the next round, in shaa Allah.
